Bière d'Aubel - 6.9% alc/vol View Label
15 Kb
Tasting Notes - The very distinct apple note is due to 8% apple juice being added in place of invert sugar for the bottle
refermentation.

Chouffe Bokbier (Chouffe-Bok 6666) - 6.66% alc/vol View Label 17 Kb
Comments - First brewed 1991.

La Chouffe - 8% alc/vol View Label
17 Kb
Comments - First brewed 1982.
Tasting Notes - Excellent, characterful, refreshing ale which is remarkably consistent for a relatively small brewery.
Amazingly drinkable for its strength. The addition of some sediment increases the graininess of texture and adds to the spice.
Kwelchouffe - 8.5% alc/vol
Comments - First brewed 1999. Relabelled Spéciale Blonde. Notes done in Café Chouffe
Antwerp, not the best place to taste the beer.
Tasting Notes - KR: Thin & watery with a real gut-busting fizziness. Disappointing in terms of complexity and interest -
very one-sided German weizenbier but too clean and too thin.
McChouffe - 8.5% alc/vol View Label
19 Kb
Comments - First brewed 1987.
Tasting Notes - Full, rich and complex ale with a spicy, herbal character and a strong roatsed, choclate malt taste.
N'Ice Chouffe - 10% alc/vol
Comments - Available Nov.
Tasting Notes - Good winter beer with some warming alcohol bolstering a rich fruity malty beer.
Spéciale Blonde
La Vielle Salme - 8.3% alc/vol
Tasting Notes - Slight apple hints in what is essentially a blonde.
